Ingrid Gabriel
Council Clerk / Office Manager
Ingrid is the chief of staff for the San Juan County Council. She oversees the operation of the office, supervises the Council staff and insures that official
documents generated by the Council are properly recorded and preserved and public
notices are posted as required by law.
Raised in Texas, Ms. Gabriel lived in Friday Harbor from 2003
until she returned to Texas to earn a Masters degree in legal studies in 2005.
While here, she worked for
the for San Juan County as a District Court Clerk and as an assistant clerk in the
Prosecuting Attorney’s office.
She returned to the San Juan Islands to rejoined the San Juan County staff in July,
2009 |
Maureen See
Department Assistant / Deputy Clerk
Maureen See is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors to the Council office,
maintaining public records, handling correspondence, committee work and any special needs that arise. She provides support services for the Clerk to
the Council, and the Deputy Clerk.
Maureen moved here from the Bay Area about fifteen years ago after many years of
service as an administrator and clinician in the non profit sector. She
enjoys Island life with her husband Harry and two Border Collies, Flynn and Maddie. She is active in the Community Theatre, and other non profit groups, plays
tennis and takes much pleasure in the Island’s incredible hiking trails.
She joined the Council staff in July, 2007.
